Description

Moonglet from any left over vegetable Kids are very fussy about eating vegetables and if you have any left over vegetable in the fridge then you can prepare yummy and healthy moonglets. Kids will eat the vegetables along with moonglet and this is very nutritious and ideal for lunch box.

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 cups moong daal split yellow


  • 1 cups gajar matar ki sabzi


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder or to taste


  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1 tsp chat masala


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 2 cups butter or ghee for shallow frying


  • 1 tsp green coriander chopped


  • 1 nos green chilly chopped


  • 1 inch ginger grated


  • 1 tsp eno

Directions

  • soak dal for 2 hours, remove water,grind to paste , paste should be like pakode batter.
  • Add salt black pepper powder,chilly powder,chat masala, garam masala and mix.
  • Heat a non stick pan, now take 2-3 tbsp daal ka mixture in a separate bowl ,add more than1/4 tsp eno and mix well,
  • empty it into the heated pan and spread , on a low flame
  • sprinkle the gajar matar veggie, chopped green coriander green chilly, grated ginger, press lightly so that the veggies stick on the chilla.
  • Add some ghee, after 2 minutes, turn the thick chilla up side down.
  • Keep checking and press lightly until it cooks and turns golden in colour..
  • sprinkle chat masala and serve crispy and hot moonglet with green chutney nd khatti mithi chutney .
  • repeat the process to make more.. enjoy!!
